How do I access the live webinars and on-demand recorded products that I purchased?

  • To access purchased programs, login to OWEN with your mycwea.org account info and then go to “My Dashboard” in the left-hand navigation. Within your dashboard, you can access live-webinars and on-demand programs.

How do I add a live webinar event to my calendar?

  • Once you complete your registration, go to “My Dashboard" on the left side navigation pane, select the event, locate the live webinar under the “Contents” tab and click on “Add to Calendar" icon (best to use Firefox or Microsoft Edge).

How long will I have to access to an on-demand program?

  • For on-demand recorded programs without a live-webinar, you will have 30 days to view the recording (from the date of your registration), access the materials and submit the correct attention check code(s) for contact hours.

What are the recommended browsers and internet settings for this site?

  • Chrome, Firefox, and Edge are the recommended browsers. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Where do I find the slides and handouts?

  • Slides and handouts (once available from the speakers) will be shared under the “Handouts” tab.

How do I receive contact hours for live webinars or on-demand recordings?

  • To receive contact hours for viewing the on-demand recording, please note the attention check code(s) that will be displayed on the screen in either the top or bottom right corner for 60-90 seconds.  One hour and less programs will have one (1) attention check code and programs over one hour will have two (2) different attention check codes that will be displayed at two different points during the webinar.
  • For live webinars, the codes will become available on the product page following the webinar end time.
  • You will need to enter the code(s) in the Attention Check Code component under the "Contents" tab.  Your contact hours will be reflected in your mycwea.org account within 2-3 weeks following completion.
  • It is not possible to receive contact hours for both the live webinar and the recording.

How do I obtain my certificate of completion for a program?

  • Once you watch a live webinar or a recording and enter the correct attention check code(s), you will find an option to print your “Certificate of Completion” under the “Contents” tab on the program home page.
  • Please do not return this certificate to CWEA when applying for or renewing your CWEA Certification(s). These contact hours will be reflected in your mycwea.org account within 2-3 weeks following completion.

What is the cancellation and refund policy for online content?

Because OWEN on-demand courses provide immediate access to digital educational content, cancellations and refunds are subject to the following policy:

Cancellations and Refunds

  • A full refund, less a 25% administrative fee, may be requested within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided the course has not been completed.
  • Once a learner has completed the course, earned a certificate or continuing education credit, or otherwise completed the requirements for the course, the purchase is non-refundable.
  • If a learner has substantially accessed (50%) or completed the course but has not yet completed the requirements for credit, CWEA may, at its discretion, deny a refund request.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to Member Services within the applicable refund period.
  • Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow 7–10 business days for processing.

Technical or Access Issues

  • If you are unable to access purchased content because of a technical problem, please contact the CWEA Education team. CWEA will work with you to resolve the issue or provide reasonable access to the purchased content.

CWEA Cancellation or Withdrawal of Content

  • CWEA reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or withdraw an on-demand course. If CWEA discontinues a course before the learner has had a reasonable opportunity to access the purchased content, CWEA will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund or access to comparable content.
